The average home holds tens of thousands of euros of furniture, electronics, appliances, instruments, watches, and clothes. Most of it was bought years ago. Most of it is still worth something. None of it is written down anywhere.

When your dishwasher dies, you can’t remember the model. When you renew your insurance, you guess the coverage. When something gets stolen, you scramble for receipts. The information exists — but it’s scattered across drawers, email inboxes, and memory.

Most homes are insured for a guess, not a number.

Add an item in seconds.
Your home becomes a portfolio.

Snap a photo or scan a barcode. Vavaro recognizes the item, fills in every detail, files it in a room, and values it — automatically. Do it a few times and you have a complete, self-updating portfolio of everything you own.

Built for five
kinds of owner.

01 Homeowners
Homeowners

Your home, properly inventoried.

You own the furniture, the appliances, the electronics — and you’ve never written any of it down.

  • Build a complete picture of your house in a weekend, one room at a time.
  • Watch your wealth-in-things grow as you replace, upgrade, and add.
  • Have a claim pack ready if anything ever happens.
02 Renters
Renters

Protect what’s yours, even in someone else’s walls.

The flat isn’t yours. Everything in it is.

  • Photograph and value every item you own — sofa, TV, bike, wardrobe.
  • Document apartment condition on move-in to defend your deposit.
  • Match your contents insurance to what you actually own.
03 Landlords
Landlords

One app, every property.

You manage more than one home — your own, a rental, a vacation place, an inherited property.

  • Switch between properties from a single menu. Each has its own rooms, items, value, and policy.
  • Track furnished rentals down to the last bedside lamp. Hand a complete inventory to a new tenant.
  • See total wealth across all properties at a glance — or drill into any one.
04 Collectors
Collectors

Treat your watches, art, and instruments like the assets they are.

Your portfolio isn’t just stocks and property. It’s also what’s on your wrist and in your study.

  • Track each piece with photos, certificates, purchase documents, and serial numbers.
  • See what each item is worth on the secondary market today, not when you bought it.
  • Build the documentation your insurer, appraiser, and estate will ask for.
05 Brokers
Brokers

A tool you can hand your clients.

You spend time chasing inventories that don’t exist.

  • Send clients a structured way to document contents — before the policy is written, not after.
  • Reduce coverage-gap surprises and disputed claims.
  • Receive claim packs in a consistent format, with photos and documentation attached.

The folder you wish you’d
built before the fire.

If your home is burgled, flooded, or burnt, your insurer will ask you to prove what was there. They will ask for an item list. They will ask for photos. They will ask for receipts, model numbers, and dates of purchase. They will give you a few weeks to assemble it. You will not have it.

Vavaro keeps that folder ready, all the time. One tap exports an archive that contains everything: a printed inventory, a spreadsheet, every photo, every document, every warranty card — grouped by room and item, named cleanly, ready to email. Built to match what real household policies require.

You’ll never need it

The questions
we keep hearing.

01Do I need an account to try Vavaro?
No. Open the app and start adding items immediately. Sign in only if you want a cloud backup or want to use Vavaro across more than one phone.
02Will my photos and inventory be uploaded somewhere?
Not by default. Everything lives on your phone until you sign in for a backup. Even then, photos stay on your device unless you choose to back them up.
03How does Vavaro know what my stuff is worth?
Vavaro checks current prices on the marketplaces real people in your country use — for Switzerland that’s Galaxus and Ricardo, for Germany Amazon and Kleinanzeigen, for Turkey Hepsiburada and Sahibinden, and so on. The estimate updates as prices move.
04Is this accurate enough for an insurance claim?
Vavaro produces an estimate based on current market prices. An insurer’s final assessment is theirs to make — but a Vavaro inventory with photos, documents, and dated values is exactly the documentation they will ask you for.
05What if I have hundreds of items already? Do I have to add them one by one?
No. Use the photo or barcode shortcut to add an item in seconds; rooms can be built one at a time over a weekend. Most people set up their main rooms in an hour.
06What languages does Vavaro support?
English, German, Turkish, and Spanish — for the full app and the in-app explanations of why each item is worth what it is.
07Which countries does Vavaro work in?
Vavaro works anywhere, but valuations are most accurate in countries with marketplace coverage today: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Turkey. More are being added.
08Can I export everything if I stop using Vavaro?
Yes. Export your full inventory to a spreadsheet at any time, with no friction. Your data belongs to you.
09Is there a desktop or web version?
Vavaro is a mobile app today — the place you take photos, scan barcodes, and check on things is your phone. A web view for browsing larger portfolios is on the roadmap.
10What if I’m a broker or work for an insurer?
Reach out at [email protected]. We work with brokers and insurance professionals who want their clients to arrive prepared.

Start with
one room.

The hardest part is starting. The easiest start is one room. Open Vavaro, take a photo of one chair, see what it’s worth. Add another. By the end of an evening you’ll have a property’s worth of items, an idea of what your home is actually worth, and a portfolio that updates itself from there.
